How is your mood? I have excellent! All weekend I painted a lot :)

I thought about the theme "Nature" and decided that I would draw something with which I most associated this word. This is a forest: huge, virgin and mysterious. In this wood the man's foot did not walk. Here the wild nature. The air is clear, but the water is clean. This forest is enchanted with its beauty.

Enchanted Forest

I used materials for Chinese traditional painting: rice paper, mineral paints and Chinese ink. At first I drew a sketch of trees. I used a dry brush with black ink to paint black spots on the bark of birches. Also, I charted the horizon, tree and stream lines

I paint the ground with black ink. I'm obscuring some places on the ground, and leaving white spaces where I'll fill in with a different color. I also paint the reflection of trees in the water.

Now I'll add a little color. Tired of painting with black ink :) It's an autumn enchanted forest. I want to paint the leaves with yellow and orange colors.

I use yellow, orange, red and brown colors. I put a brush with colored dots. It's so fun and creative! Also I mix yellow and black ink and get a greenish color. I paint the ground with this color.

The next step is to paint the trees on the horizon. I mix the colors black, yellow and blue. I paint trees with this color. Also I mix blue and gray. With this color I paint water in a creek.

The final step. I strengthen the colors of my picture. More bright colors! I paint even more yellow, brown leaves.
In thin strokes, I paint the grass on the ground. I draw yellow dots - forest flowers and fallen leaves. I want everyone to come up with what it is.

I added a little blue in the reflection of the water.
