Original Art Photography Series by @velimir #144 'Playground memory'
The name of this art photograph is: 'Playground Memory'
This one brings me back to my childhood. Instantly and without a warning. It happens every time I take a look at it. Honestly, I have absolutely no conscious clue as to why it happens. Is it the colours, or the cardboard buildings in the background? Is it the children's clothes hanging on a string? It could also be the bottom view perspective which we all had when very young. I feel like as if the wind is going to blow anytime soon and I will follow it behind a veil of memories back to an old playground.
I like how are the lights set. One can notice that they were put inside the cardboards and turned upwards. That is why there are very bright, overburned areas, colourful walls and ceiling. When you learn how to see the light, you might spend watching the entire movie figuring out exactly where were the lights standing. This happens to me when I go to the movies. Well... It used to happen quite often before I have trained myself to switch it off and turn my attention to the story. But, this is a curse of many cinematographers. With the development of skill one simply starts to watch films differently. I am saying all this because this could easily be a movie set or a theatre. It is neither, but it could easily be both.
I particularly like the combination of black and yellow in the foreground. Did you know that black and yellow have the strongest perceivable contrast of all other colour combinations? The background is full of pink, magenta and blue with a bit of red in the middle of the bottom third. The colour mix of the background creates this dream-like fairytale feeling, foreground comes off quite realistic. But, what makes that special, most important punchline? What removes this image completely from the realm of reality?
There is no sky! The ceiling closes the place completely. An outside scene is now inside, brought into the realm of fantasy and wonder!
Enjoy! :)

is that the actual color of the photo or just a filter?
Wonderful colors, well done.
Absolutely. This colorful photo looking beautiful. Superb photography.
Nice one @velimir. I enjoyed it. There are a lot of people on steemit who post a lot of photograps, but i just skip them. But i am just drawn to yours because of the interesting interpretation you give to them. Well done. Looking at that pics makes me think of child hood too. Very good perspective. If there is anything i enjoy from your posts, its the story behind them. Keep soaring high my friend.
I like this very much, it gave me chills. I almost can feel the wind blowing in the middle of the street, it's kind of cold, it gave me that feeling, maybe because of the way the lights are soft, like the sun is already hiding, but you can't see the sunset because of that ceiling.
Nice work, I'm definetely going to keep an eye on your upcoming works.
Nice Post. Since you spoke about cardboard, i remembered when i was taught secondary and primary colors and it was really nice.
By the way thanks for the post because it triggered the memories of my grade school art tutor...
That's reminds me i replied your post on green dragon. So i want you to please check it out in order to get your view on my observation.
On one of these garments, the black is actually blessing into the yellow. It is a more vivid and interesting contrast when the colours are juxtaposed on one thing.
Welcome all especially the artist @velimir
Honestly respect the creative people who glorify their profession and rise to the highest rank
To be frank, I tried to imitate these skills, but I was betrayed by skill and talent.
Good luck to you and to your group @buildteam and further shine in the future.
