Some of my coloring and inking studies! -Mechatime Project by Treinor
Hi Steemian!,
I'm back with more drawings and digital painting studies :)
In this study I will develop Sarah, an OC (original character) from my Mechatime comic manga project (created in a paintchat by my friend Pon and developed by me).
It is a difficult process to choice the drawing style of this comic, the genre of this is about robots, school girls (sexy), adventures, comedy and more funny stuff. It could be made in a cartoon style, but I like many styles... SO I did experiments by changing very specific details in the sketching, inking and coloring process.

I did tons of them before choice this one!
Two coloring techniques:
1) Celshaded colored style
2) Digital oil brush strokes.
I like both... but I think I put more effort at the 2) Digital oil brush strokes
What do you like more, the 1) or 2)?

I like the digital strokes one personally, but if you're going to be drawing it all the time as you do in manga you may want to go for whichever is simplest or easiest for you.
Hey @fenyxx! I felt very comfortable with digital strokes... your comment is very accurated!, the simplest or easiest way is for create more content, manga/comic pages is a lot of drawings to paint, thank you for your comment :)

Ahh thanks dude!, the celshaded colored style is more tricky to me, but I learned a lot in the process!, I could do it better and faster next time :) ... keepdoodling! ;)

Very cute! I agree, I like the Digital oil brush strokes better. I think maybe it's the highlights on the hair. Lovely work!
