All in all – very long. But it's really depending on the piece. Some are quick done, some take ages. Thanks for your comment, Marcus.
It happens quite often that the stages of works made in progress are as interesting as the final result...
Definitely, Werner. Especially when the stages don't have the "final result" as a purpose or goal. Those pieces were all done as separate artworks, not in the awareness that they would be used for this album cover. They are all individual works of art.
