Margaret Thatcher meets Nurse East

This coloured pencil drawing was a commission from a friend. His mother is the nurse and Margaret Thatcher was one of his heroes.

It was interesting one to draw as Margaret was known as a cold, hard woman, but she showed a genuine warmth and affection to my friend's mother.
