My First Time Painting With Acryllics
I've never been an artist, but I wanted to share this to hopefully inspire others to try something new.
I grew up with my sister being the artistic one. I was the one who played musical instruments and that was my creative outlet. So I decided, that will be NO MORE. And I tried my hand at painting.It really didn't turn out too bad!
It wasn't all fine and dandy to start. I practiced a lot on cardboard. I didn't want to make a mistake on the canvas, and I had no idea what I was doing.
I made a HUGE mess. And I spent a decent amount of time scraping paint off the floor when it splattered.
I ended up painting over my canvas TWICE before I settled on this one.
It was a really fun experience, although I'm not sure I have a complete love relationship with acrylics. I think I might try a few more times before trying my hand at a different medium. Thanks for reading!
