The Art Of Gastronomy

Hunger often times blinds us and doesn't let us admire the true beauty of gastronomy. The only thing we think about is to fill our belly and be content with what we ate. The process of creation of some foods takes a lot of time and it is waste just to eat it without paying attention to eat's visual side.

Chefs are artists. The difference between them and other artists is that we admire them only when we feel hungry. We can only feel the art when we need to sate our hunger, but a chef can create a masterpiece without that feeling.

A chef also thinks about the visual part. They are exceptional artists. Not do they only make mouthwatering dishes, but they are able to make us enjoy it just by looking at it smelling it. They can activate our every sense. The sound of a frying steak is a music to the ears, feeling it's tenderness through touching it, that delightful soft feeling. The final part of tasting it, The majestic culmination, that unforgettable taste.

Gastronomy can leave a very good impression. The beauty of it is that all of the five senses remember it. Through touching, smelling, hearing, seeing and tasting it.

Food often times also stimulates our memories. When you taste a really good dish, often times it reminds you of the good times you had in past. I've had that experience. There were some cases, where food made me remember the warmth of my childhood.

Some chefs treat their creation with utmost care and precision. The process of making a wonderful dish is spectacular. Ingredients are marbles that are ready to be made into art.

Isn't it marvelous? We go to the restaurants and order the art to be made in few minutes and artists make our wishes come true in few minutes. When it finally arrives is one of the most joyous moments. The happiness that artists bring us in a few minutes is indescribable.

Humans are known to not be bound by instincts, particularly the chefs. They Don't eat food until it's made in a work of art. We are not animals to eat as soon as we see some sort of food. Chefs mold it into a masterpiece.

I think i got way too excited while writing this post. What i am trying to convey is, that chefs are artists and i want more people to recognize them. Their work should be admired, as it is an art. Gastronomy deserves more attention.
