A champion of Nurgle, the chaos God of death, pestilence, rot, decay and disease in the Warhammer Universe.
Nurgle was always my favorite. I have not played in years but still enjoy painting the occasional model and drawing inspiration from the world.
This piece was done with a variety of pencils on paper.
Nurgle always gave the most freedom to model making in 40k. Loved using him as the god for my Chaos Marine army.
Totally. Really let you break out the green-stuff and go to town on your models for a more personal touch!

Man, I've been fascinated with that 40k modern-gothic aesthetic ever since I was introduced to it round-about through Mordheim as a teenager, and you captured it beautifully. I love how it looks like this was done in various levels of shading rather than distinct lines. Really nice work.
Thank you! It did involve some very soft pencils and a blending stick to blend it all around.
