DIY : How to decorate a jar! Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!! This season is all about love and sharing and spreading joy! At work, this friend of mine gave me an empty jar and asked me to do something with it. All I could think of doing was to paint it and give it back to him as a Christmas present. So this is my lame attempt at making a gift for my friend. It did not come off that good and I didn't have a lot of time to focus on the photography.

Here we go! This is what it looks like!

I cleaned the jar thoroughly and let it dry completely.

Then I applied a single coat of teal acrylic paint. Clumsiness everywhere!!

What it looks like when the whole jar is painted.

I used a marker to draw a random pattern and covered the entire jar with the same.

And you know what the next image will be about. That's right!

Make sure the paint is dried completely before you go about drawing the pattern. Repainting the jar is a real pain in the..
Anyway, I then used a glitter glue applicator and applied the glitter along the pattern.

Let it dry. And then Bam! You got yourself a clumsily painted jar! That's what I got! Yours will be better, I'm sure!
