This is not art, and you are not an artist!

Hello dear readers. I would like to tell you about what I have been doing as a hobby for the past two years. To begin with, these are paintings, but the technique of their execution is slightly traditional.

The material of my paintings is cardboard, and the most varied. Once I thought of doing a portrait in an unusual technique: I decided first to cut out the silhouette, and then draw the traits with pencils and pens. I tried, I thought that you can do without pencils and pens at all - cut everything. So my first picture turned out. Then, from time to time, he made such pictures as a gift, made to order, and a year ago he tuned in to create serious paintings, to his own collection.

I came up with the technique for creating pictures myself. They do something like that, but I have reached the stage I am in right now. I like to discover everything myself. Maybe because of this I will develop longer, but I'll know that all the way has passed by myself.
I have very different pictures in terms of size and complexity. It is difficult to give small details, eat the most time. One of the simplest works - a portrait of Victor Tsoi, it took 15 hours of pure manual work, I recorded the whole process on video.

For the registration of their work, I order an expensive baguette and velvet passepartout large size, as well as recently began to make metal nameplates with the name. For myself, I determined that spending a lot of time on work and then wrap it all in a cheap frame is simply not permissible. Yes, and with a good baguette looks more impressive and full.

Ideas come from different spheres. Sometimes they come to mind accidentally, from books, from student's hobbies of fantasy. While there are not enough works to highlight them in some topics, but for myself, I decided that I want to develop further three directions: everything that concerns the domestic, historical, patriotic; Fantasy, fairy tale; Poets, bards, idols. From the fantasy, I made the characters of the game universe of Blizzard as well as Spartan General Kratos.


They tell me that I'm an artist who works in vector graphics, I just do everything wrong - where I need it on the tablet, I do my hands and knives from cardboard. One guy wrote me that photoshop can quickly divide the picture into colors. It is a great pity that he does not see any difference. We must understand that the photoshop divides, again, literally. He does not care whether it's a dimple or an eye, he calculates purely mathematically. And I do not, this is the most difficult, and at the same time the most interesting. I like to think and try the most interesting how to put paper, maybe sideways, for example, then it will play differently.

And about modern art ... I also during a trip to the capital's galleries, the direct text said - now in art is not important talent, not beauty, not skill. The concept is important. As, for example, an exhibition of fine art items, packed in boxes. Without slits, holes. Just boxes. It is an experience of the artist's expectations before the completion of work. In the same theme: an exhibition of excrement, an exhibition where 20 ironed shirts are hung in the gallery. I do not understand this. Not grown. Perhaps, for the better.
My goal is to develop, experiment and improve my technique of performance. In 2016, I first started participating in exhibitions and I'm not going to stop, I'm just at the beginning, I'm making the first steps. I was offered to exhibit works in the Tomsk Art Museum, but it turned out that so far there was not enough work. And this means only one thing - you have to work and replenish your collection with new interesting works.
