So much good art today! Can we build utopia through game theory?

My feed is full of really awesome new work by artists I've been following. I resteemed a higher number of posts today than usual.

Sometimes I feel a bit bipolar about this platform, pissed off about how it isn't working one week, excited by the growth in another. I don't know where steem will be in two years, but it's clear folks are ready for a new kind of social media so that is encouraging.

I'm not a steem maximalist by any stretch, although it is the main web 3.0 platform that I use regularly.
There is a lot of uncertainty in the crypto markets right now, I look forward to the day that doesn't matter. I'm optimistic that this will be a good year for projects though, many pieces are coming together on some very powerful dAPPs in this space.

Ultimately I believe the power of crypto is it's P2P trustless nature. This can allow people to build utopia without the permission of the whales of the world. An opt in economy which excludes those which don't act fairly is possible. We can make a world where everyone lives a healthy happy life, one where we hold each other up. This is the power of P2P networks tied together with the proper flavors of game theory.

Decentralized stablecoins have begun to prove themselves (unfortunately not steem dollar), is it possible to create a stable asset which is always appreciating in value at a set rate? Is a basic universal income finally possible?
