Miss Argentina
I have always loved Beetlejuice and one of my favourite characters in the film is "Miss Argentina". Her whole look is fantastic with blue skin, pinky red hair and beauty pagent costume.
I wanted to combine an Alphonse Mucha/Art Nouveau style with the pinup style of Gil Elvgren. The actual drawing only took a couple of hours, but I easily spent 10 inking it in photoshop.
I don't have a lot of practice painting... so the colouring part is taking incredibly long! I'm probably only half finished, but it's taken months. Hopefully I can make some progress over the holiday break!
