How to make your mother-in-law happy by making her a tableware rack
Hi there! :) It's been a long time since I've been writing about my stuff.
So, I want to show you a little something that I've made for my mother-in-law.
It's a tableware rack. I've made it out of pieces of fir wood and ply-wood. I prepare the pieces down in my workshop and I fixed them back home.
Ok. I needed to sand them a little bit before fix'em. So i used 150 granulation sandpaper.
It is a messy job so if you think doing it try to prepare the space of working properly. The dust will go everywhere :)
After the sanding part and have all the pieces ready for fixing I start to put in shape the first pieces.
Ok. So now I'm using some little clamps to keep them together.
And after that by hammering nails I fixed the little pieces making the part for flatware.
Practically, this rack that I've made is composed by three parts: the back - where they are spaces for the flatware, the middle part - space for napkins and also the piece with the lever, and the front part - like a little balcony for the little bottles of vinegar and oil and other kitchen or table stuff :)
A little check before hammering some nails :)
And this is it :)
The tableware rack made out of fir wood and ply-wood. :)
So, I hope you enjoy it. Sorry for the bad photos or the bad angles.
Cheers,
Andrei
