April Art Challenge - One month of - Pablo Picasso
Hello my artful friends
The whole month of April we dedicate to one of the greatest artist of modern times, Pablo Picasso
It is his 45th death anniversary this month.
Pablo Picasso (25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright who spent most of his adult life in France. Regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore.

He is an artist that has left an immense body of work, so we decided to follow the stages of his artistic development by studying the different periods he went through in consecutive order.
In the first week we want to study two of his early periods the blue and rose one. They are similar as he worked on monochromatic paintings in a realistic/simplistic style.
Here is one example from his blue period obviously.
