Science and Art
Can there be art in science?
Something so confined by laws of mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry; Dictated by logic, rational and reason. With expectations to find absolute outcomes set in stone (with the exception of the theoretical physicist).
While an artist main job is to create, imagine, and capture self interpretations of the world. Nothing is in stone, everything is fair play, and there are no wrong or right answers.
Someone who possesses the traits of the artist and the scientist is then in permanent internal conflict. Even the left and right sides of the brains are separated, so how can this to sides of the coin coexist? Is this then a war of the soul that will plague the mind and body until one side wins?
I do not have these answers.
Is there then some perfect balance of peace that can provide meaning to someone like this? Some career path in between valued by society?
The cliché then continues, "Only time will tell"
