A tiny wooden box for the tiny wooden bear ^_^
In the last days I thought about something to place my little wooden bears and finally I finished the "prototype": a tiny wooden box for a tiny diorama with the bears!
I used just the materials I had in my lab (Ok, my lab is always full of different materials to use ^_^), I wore my "dress for work" to protect my hair, my face and also my clothes from every kind of spot and powder and I started to use the saw, the hammer and my other tools for wooden pieces. I looked like a carpenter! My lab looked like the lab of a carpenter! Everything was covered by the powder, but fortunately it was a little wooden box and a little wooden bear, so it was fast ^_^
At the end, the result was this:
As you can see in the pic, I use my oil colors to add colors to the scenes and I have to say that I'm satisfied by the result, even if I tried different colors on the background before to find the perfect shades. I work on the colors 3 times before to be satisfied, but I can't explain in detail why I was not satisfied, it was just for some different shades of the same color ;)
I want to show you te "behind the scenes" too, so you can see where I worked this tiny piece.
At first, a little place for a great chaos, this is the place where I used the tools for wood:
After I worked on my corner in the kitchen, where I add the colors:
A big chaos for a little piece ^_^
I hope you like it ^_^
See ya soon

Wow! Check out those tools! I always get inspired to craft something when I see someone else’s behind the scenes images. I also really love your diorama, it’s such a cute creative idea.

Da te c'è veramente tanto da imparare!
Grazie mille!!! Ho la fortuna di vivere in una casa-laboratorio dove attrezzi e materiali non mancano, questo mi permette di dare corpo alla fantasia ;)
It's so cute <3 I'm sure you'd create amazing christmas decoration using this technique!

This is adorable! Oh how I wish we lived closer. I would love to get together and make little things like this. As I may have mentioned before, I have a doll's house and love little furniture and mini animals, you may have inspired me to mess about with some fun things like this in my Summer studio this Summer.
This is the perfect little house and world for your perfect little bear!
A hammer? A saw?? Mop up the blood and count your fingers 8-).
Looks great!
