Digital art based on a childhood nightmare

Since I was a child I had dreams that have been recorded in my memory. This is one of them, I leave you a fragment of what I remember with the image that I create based on what I saw.

"I have to keep moving, the darkness is coming and they come with it. Where is everybody? Where is my family? At what point did they get away from me? They must be close, I have to find them and escape from this old building before all the lights go out. I can feel those things approaching, I can hear the sound of their claws skimming over the floor and walls. It must be a little before dawn, I must leave here. The stairs are already sunken in the dark, I have to get to the elevator to see if it still works, it's the last hope. On this floor the road to the elevator is dark, but the stairs to climb are still lit, I will go up and prove on that floor.
I can see it, it's on, it's the last light that remains, I have to reach it and get out of here..."

and then when the elevator opens... I wake up.

For the digital art, ​I use images found in Google and assemble them at my convenience in Photoshop.
