RE: 🔎 "Zoom in" - a closer look at "Up High"

The vertical aspect ratio is lovely, and I smiled reading about your little subversive activity irritating a colleague. Content-wise, my favorite parts are the wings which are just decorations and artifice, rather than angelic and the knowing look on her face. I also like the bright, warm colors for a gothic piece.

Hehe, a little provocation and irritation certainly was in order there.. I just have a problem with egos out of proportion. I took the wing theme even a little further in my painting Hallelujamachine

The Hallelujamachine - a surrealistic approach to a renaissance cheerleader

I have a problem expressing myself when I like something too much. The words that come to mind seem overblown, yet mundane, so I remain quiet.

(It's a serious condition, specialists have been consulted, no cure has been found as of yet.)

I just wanted you to know, this has been the most common reason why I haven't said more about the things you post.

The wings theme is very nice indeed. With regards to Hallelujamachine (great title, btw), my favorite part is actually the perfectly circular cutout revealing not automation, as would be expected, but something organic yet clearly not the usual anatomy.
