What a amazing work there @seanbon. Both of you cooperate very well. How fast you able to sketch a page like this? It seems you able to sketch it very fast with the idea in your head. Then you slowly touch up the sketch pieces by pieces. I love how both of you divide the workload but still able to deliver such a wonderful comic drawing.
Both of you always corporate in comic drawing or this was the first time in this comic.
I still remember your Inktober drawing. It was amazing. And now you brought this surprise to me where it painted with color. I like your drawing very much.
Thank you very much for such kind words!
Sketching and getting the coloured rough layout takes less than a day, but then we need an additional day [maybe two depending upon the complexity] to do the lineart, backgrounds, flats and lighting.
This is our first honest attempt at a comic. We've dabbled on projects before, unsuccessfully, but for this one we made an oath to see through to completion :D
And thank you so much for remembering me from Inktober! I do hope to keep surprising you with more art!
How could I forget with such a wonderful sketch of inktober. I love your comic drawing as well. I glad that you have determination to complete it, or else I won't have chance to see your work. the comic of yours was so colourful and beautiful. I love this type of comic drawing. I hope you continue this so that I can see somemore of your work :p.opps Hope I didn't put on burden or stress to you :)
WOW, took a big leap from the sketch to the final result, the colors and characteristics of the characters is excellent. A good game between lights and shadows, congratulations although I could not read what is in the image :(
Thank you so much :D !!!
It definitely takes us a good 2-3 days to go from the rough to the finished piece.
The process itself is a work in progress and we hope to get even better as the story progresses!
It's a shame you can't read the page :(
Once we finish this chapter, we'll be reevaluating our font type and size, so we'll see if we can come up with a compromise~

Love this page, Sean !!! The dialog is so interesting too, and the art is amazing, as usual <3 I love the expressions that you drew to match each panel's narrative <3 Such a lovely webcomic * ____ *
Thank you <3!!! I'm especially happy you love the expressions since I 've been having increasingly more fun doing them. As I move onto new pages, I feel that I am slowly getting better >:3c !
I hope to WOW you with even more pages and dialogue [next one's going to be fuuuuu~n] * w *
Love, love, love your artwork @seanbon! Why have I not seen this series? I will go read them from the start :D. This piece, the art is amazing! (I'm sure so is the rest :D) The old lady looks creepily witchy. I like the chinese lantern there. Hehe. Congrats on another curie vote! :)
Thank you !!!
I really hope you got to enjoy the comic/story so far :D <3 We've been doing this comic since the 2nd of August and we plan on at least updating once per week.
That old witchy lady is going to play an important part in the upcoming pages, and she's going to be an incredibly fun character to bring to life on the page :) I am most excited to share with you the next page this coming Monday~
Hehehe, maybe in the future XD <3 !
At the moment we will concentrate on improving and making sure the story is told. @painted-bees always enjoys the idea of adapting our stories for the big screen.
Some day~
I started from the beginning and I love it!! It is so cool that Ayse weaves!! I love watching weavers. And poor Tolan :D
The beginning relationship between human and dragons reminded me of The Hobbit, the relationship between the dragons and dwarves. This would really be a cool adaptation on the big screen!
Oh the link to Chapter 11 here is missing: https://steemit.com/art/@seanbon/woven-chapter-01-page-10
Can't wait for your next chapter :)
I like the amount of detail into this work. I lighting and the atmosphere in the story were appropriate down to the color palette. I checked the previous works and you are really good at being consistent :D
Why Thank you :D !!!
It does make me happy to know that my art has a consistent feel, since I only get to see it from my perspective, and thank you for loving those palettes! They were fun to choose~
