The eyes are always the hardest part to bring a portrait to life.

Every time i am painting it feels like meditation, you are in the very moment and the result shows, if you are. This time i painted my girlfriend from a shooting photo, she made by Chris Brandt a awesome photographer. The earrings and some decorations on the photo where self-made.

Technique is Acrylic on 40x60 Canvas / Colors by Schmicke
