The one who changed this vision was French engineer Louis Réard.

He inherited the underwear clothing company owned by his parents,then he entered the race with a Paris fashion designer.
they noticed women rolling up the edges of their swimsuits to get a better tan, They decided that the winner of the contest would be the one who could design the finest swimsuits.
Réard quickly produced his own swimsuit design which was a string bikini consisting of four triangles made from only 30 square inches of fabric printed with a newspaper pattern. He introduced his new swimsuit, which he named the bikini.
This name was controversial Because he took the title of Bikini from Bikini Atoll Island. He introduced his design four days after the first test of a nuclear weapon at the Bikini Atoll.
Louis's reason for choosing Bikini's name was that he hoped the new design would be explosive in fashion and culture.

When Réard sought a model to wear his design at its debut presentation, none of the usual models would wear the suit, so he hired 19-year-old nude dancer Micheline Bernardini from the Casino de Paris to model it.
After that, it took years to wear bikini in the western culture, and of course, cinematic figures such as Brigitte Bardot and Ava Gardner played a role in wearing bikinis in cinematic films and in public beaches.
