Altantis City Civilization

hi, steemian all, how are you today? i hope you are healthy and creative to work.
Today I create a post. This post is a description of digital artwork created by @xpilar. I thank you for the permission given by him and his community to interpret and make illustrations in my posts.
@xpilar has worked hard to create a very good digital artwork. A digital work that is full of meaning and can be interpreted by everyone.
In my view, this work of art shows a very advanced civilization in a region in the middle of the ocean. Inside there are multilevel buildings that can be interpreted as a building with watchtowers and various aspects of the community's protection. I also saw 3 strong transparent rings, so everyone could see but could not destroy it. I see the flying object which can interpreted as a air transportation. The amazing architecture and city planning make us think of a past civilization that once triumphed like Mohenjo Daro and Harrapa in India or the legacy of the ancient Egyptian city.
In my opinion this work of art can be interpreted as an advanced civilization that once existed on this earth, namely the

Civilization of Atlantis

, because it was strengthened by the existence in the middle of the ocean as we also know that there are records of the city of Atlantis which was lost to swallowing water.
The word Atlantis is often associated with the Atlantic, the Atlas or often also said with the word Atalantis.
The term Atlantis was first introduced by Plato in his books Timaeus and Critias. There are no other records besides the two records. Even if there are all sourced from the two Plato notes. Plato was a Greek-born philosopher who lived 427-347 BC. Plato was a disciple of Socrates, a wise philosopher, who later died poisoned by the tyrannical ruler of Athens in 399 BC. After the death of his teacher, Plato often traveled, including his trips to Egypt and various other regions. In 387 BC he returned to Athens and founded the Academy, a school of science and philosophy, which later became a model for modern universities. From the records that were saved we knew many things. One of them is the existence of an advanced civilization that is famous for Atlantis.
In his notes, Plato wrote that Atlantis lay across the pillars of Hercules. There is no definite research on where the location of the Hercules pillar is. There are some who claim on the Strait of Gibraltar. Atlantis had a great army to conquer other regions. However, Atlantis sank into the ocean "in just one day and one night".

In the Timaeus book, Plato recounts:

In the presence of the Mainstay Haigelisi Strait, there is a very large island, from there you can go to another island, in front of the islands are all land surrounded by the ocean, it is the kingdom of Atlantis. At that time the new Atlantis would launch a great war with Athens, but unexpectedly, Atlantis suddenly experienced an earthquake and flood, not until a day and a night, sank completely on the seabed, a large country that surpassed high civilization, vanished overnight.

Myth or Not

Atlantis is generally regarded as a myth made by Plato to illustrate political theory. Although the function of the story of Atlantis was clearly seen by most scholars, they debated whether and how much Plato's record was inspired by older traditions. Some experts say that Plato described the events that have passed, the many references he knew both from reading or stories in the area he explored so that he was able to tell Atlantis better.
According to Plato's account, Atlantis was the territory of Poseidon, the god of the sea. When Poseidon fell in love with a woman who could die, Cleito, he made a well on the top of a hill in the middle of the island and made water canals in a circle around the well to protect his wife. Cleito gave birth to five pairs of male twins who became the first ruler of Atlantis. The island's land was divided among his brothers. The oldest, Atlas, the first king of Atlantis, was given control of the center of the hill and the surrounding area.
At the top of the middle of the hill, in honor of Poseidon, a building of temples, temples or palaces was built which placed a giant golden statue of Poseidon riding a flying horse-drawn carriage. This is where the rulers of Atlantis used to discuss the law, determine the decision and pay homage to Poseidon.
To facilitate travel and trade, a canal (channel) of water was made to cut the rings of water canals that encircled the area, so that a 9 km waterway to the south formed towards the sea.
The city of Atlantis occupies a place in the outer ring circle of water, spread along the circular plain along 17 km. This is a densely populated place where the majority of the population lives
Behind the city lay a fertile area of 530 km and 190 km wide surrounded by other water canals used to collect water from rivers and mountain water streams. The climate allows them to get 2 crops a year. During the rainy season, the land is drenched with rain water and in the summer / dry season, the land is irrigated from water canals.

Around the plain to the north there is a mountain that rises high into the sky. Village, lakes and rivers and meadow mark mountain points.
Besides the crop, the large archipelago provides all kinds of herbs, fruits and nuts, and a number of animals including elephants, which fill the islands.
When reading Plato's notes, initially he only thought that it was a work of fiction. However, so detailed are these records that the researchers were interested and began to see aspects of the truth from Plato's notes. Then came the theory of the civilization of Atlantis
The high level of civilization has become the material of modern research. The experts began trying to uncover the veil of the truth about the lost Atlantis. So they tried to examine the actual location of Atlantis, so that it can be proven that the story of Atlantis is a myth or true.

Location of Atlantis.

In 1882, Ignatius L. Donnelly published Atlantis: the Antediluvian World. His work attracted many people's interest in Atlantis. Donnelly took Plato's account of Atlantis seriously and stated that all ancient civilizations were known to originate from his high Neolithic culture.

Various studies conducted in various regions resulted in speculation about the whereabouts of Atlantis. The number reaches hundreds of places with all the arguments put forward. Of course we can't see the actual evidence. Of the hundred places there are some that I want to convey.

1. Most of the proposed locations are around the Mediterranean Sea. Islands such as Sardinia, Crete and Santorini, Sicily, Cyprus and Malta; cities such as Troy, Tartessos, and Tantalus (in Manisa province), Turkey; and Israel-Sinai or Canaan. The eruption of the great Thera in the 17th or 16th century BC caused a massive tsunami which was thought by experts to destroy the Minoan civilization around the island of Crete which further increased the belief that this disaster might be a disaster that destroyed Atlantis.

2. There is a region on the Black Sea that is proposed as the location of Atlantis: the Bosporus and Ancomah (a legendary place near Trabzon). Around the Azov Sea it was proposed as another location in 2003.

3. Some hypotheses state that Atlantis was on an island that had sunk in Northern Europe, including Sweden (by Olof Rudbeck on Atland, 1672-1702), or in the North Sea. Some have proposed Al-Andalus or Ireland as locations.

4. Antarctica, Indonesia, under the Bermuda Triangle, and the Caribbean Sea has been proposed as the location of Atlantis. Even in Indonesia the story of the existence of an empire at the bottom of the ocean known as the Kingdom of the South Sea is led by a queen, the name of the Queen of South Sea, mean The Queen of Southern Ocean. The story of the lost "Kumari Kandam" continent in India has inspired some people to describe it in parallel with Atlantis. According to Ignatius L. Donnelly in his book, Atlantis: The Antediluvian World, there is a connection between Atlantis and Aztlan (where Aztecs lived). He claimed that the Aztecs pointed east of the Caribbean as a former Aztlan location.

5. Caribbean Sea
   Edgar Cayce first called Atlantis in 1923 and later explained that the location of Atlantis was in the Caribbean and stated that Atlantis was a glorious ancient civilization, had ships and fighter planes that used energy in the form of mysterious energy crystals, and had sunk. He also predicted that some of Atlantis would rise to the surface in 1968 or 1969. The Bimini Road, which was discovered by Dr. J. Manson Valentine, is a sinking rock formation that looks like a road to the north of the North Bimini Islands. This road was discovered in 1968 and is claimed as evidence of a lost civilization and is still being studied.

At the end of this post I would like to say that what is in the civilization of Atlantis is a modern development that should be worthy of our study. Especially if later the research succeeded in revealing the truth of this story, it would certainly be a big thing in the course of human history.
