Some of the artists on Artstation surprise me to no end. This time, Sarah Wang posted screenshots of areas she created for the game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, published by EA (shame). Look at the entire gallery of pictures.
At first, I thought it was a painting. It is very hard to even paint a landscape like this. It's even harder when you have to design it in 3D and it has to look good from all angles. All angles have to have great composition, light balances, color intermixture, etc. It's quite a challenge and the fact that it was done so masterfully by one person really astonishes me.
There is a lot of great art on Artstation, but this is one of the best finds for sure. If you're an artist on Artstation, do leave an encouraging comment on her post! She'd better keep creating awesome stuff like this.
