Graffiti, or graphite, is a modality of free painting, highlighted by its illegality, generally made in urban spaces where young people have been able to express their knowledge and skills, according to those consulted, who prefer to be identified by the aliases of their networks. social.

The artist @badsura explained that "his is a graphic project that began in 2008, where he sought to expose various realities through art. I call it a street exhibition ", which many condemn, since they consider them meaningless.

A sample of the work of this 28-year-old creator is in Chacao, in one of the structures of the Metro station. "The mural, I did not do just to make a tribute to Venezuelan music and our identity, but to raise our voice with respect, to that oblivion that some media have shown towards what identifies us as a country," he said.

He also explained that "this initiative was generated in a self-taught and independent manner. We only have the permission of the Metro, and we carry out this work with important personalities. This case, the great "Sonero del mundo", Oscar D'León and our remembered Simón Díaz, "he added.

The result is a great image that combines both musicians in one of the entrances of the Chacao Metro. "It's amazing how this humble cultural approach affects the passers-by. Some sing the songs of the characters or say expressions of them. Others just watch, "he said.

He also said that "what is certain is that, like it or not, the work already has a direct or indirect impact on visitors, because it allows us to position a graphic aesthetic in the city. Thus, we gain spaces in the street, respect, and consideration as artists and not as reproducers ", he clarified.

With his murals, the young man has represented Venezuela in 10 countries. "This project made me pose, as a goal, in 2019, take on much broader formats, where art exposes its true language."

For his part, the 30-year-old Venezuelan @ dagor1 began painting in 1999. He started from very close with friends in his area. "We skated and painted and, over the years, this was something formal."

Currently, for him, painting is a lifestyle. "I am inspired by originality, because I try to do something different, visually pleasant and that brings something positive. My style has been evolving, in the search of an own art language. So what I do I call it geometric abstraction of typography. "

The artist has done a lot of work in Caracas, including an exhibition at the Cruz-Diez museum. Also, it has been in: England, Spain, France, Ecuador and Argentina. "I am currently in Mexico. I'm going to make a series of large-scale murals in different cities, "he said.

He was asked if he currently has any proposal for the Caracas Metro to be able to capture more jobs. "You have not done it to me. But, if the Metro, some day, does some mural project and invites me, I would evaluate it and it would be a possibility, "he explained.
