Not citing sources of copied works is plagiarism and frowned upon by the community.
Sharing content and add value by:
Using a few sentences from your source in “quotes.” Use HTML tags or Markdown.
Linking to your source
Include your own original thoughts and ideas on what you have shared.
Repeated plagiarized posts are considered spam. Spam is discouraged by the community, and may result in action from the cheetah bot.
Creative Commons: If you are posting content under a Creative Commons license, please attribute and link according to the specific license. If you are posting content under CC0 or Public Domain please consider noting that at the end of your post.
Not indicating that the content you copy/paste is not your original work could be seen as plagiarism.

Just found out about this community and couldn't wait to share - I shall make a proper introduction post soon.
Indeed the work is mine, I had been on a break from drawing for some weeks and wanted to get back to it! Finished up this page last weekend at a coffee shop.
About the piece: I wanted to create some characters and test my patience with the page. Using patterns to force myself not to rush. I practice mindfulness by filling pages with patterns (and sometimes words!)
You can do it anonymously too. I think the information is in the same post so you don't have to reveal your real identity to everyone if you don't want to. Sadly a lot of people tried to scam in the beginning with using other people's art so it has become a thing now.

Fantastic. It would be useful for you to also do a verification in your post. Here is a post that explains how and why.
@thecryptofiend aha! thanks again for the useful tips! I shall make a proper introduction post to verify.
Would you mind mentioning Steemit on your twitter real quick? https://twitter.com/@taco_designs

I appreciate the community taking extra precaution for scammers and people stealing others content.
