carries the weight of the sun
forever in dark
alone
losing its light with each morn

Beautiful moon painting .... And good poetry..
ooohh... beautiful reverberations of the ancient myth in a new setting <3
:)
So this is a Chofu poem... 5/2/7/5/2/7.
I really liked it... the Sun and the Moon 🌙.
Very interesting
Thank you, Moon:)
Hey, I'm Oatmeal Joey Arnold, and I love the book of the bear that tried to give the moon his hat for a birthday and I loved that book as a kid and I love your art and I draw and write too.
Thank you, Joey:)
great
The moon might be a theme for me today. I seen a beautiful full one when taking Hubby to work. :D
That must have been early:)
Once in a Blue Moon... but not with Pryde's Poetry... Definitely more than once :)
Thank you, Blue:) You are so kind:)
I never thought of the Moon as a Sisif ... but the comparison is very beautiful.
The moon's job is a lonely one and a long one:) Bringing light to the dark and delivering our tides:)
This is a cool combination of poetry and art. I've never heard of Chofu, but now I know what it is. Nice work!
Thanks Negativer. It is a rather recent addition to syllable count poetry and so it makes sense you haven't heard of it. It was invented ...to my knowledge, on writer's cafe. It is rather challenging but can create some interesting effect.
are you subtly trying to moon us ? hope you enjoy your evening :)
LOL ... I never thought of that ... there are three moons ... subtle no ... unwittingly yes:)
lol :) , 3 .... butt who's counting ?
