These are fun. do you have any tips for someone who hasn't painted shoes before? I've prepped a pair but i'm a little nervous about just jumping in.
I know I was a little nervous too the first pair... I drew my image on a craft foamy sheet , cut it out and then placed it on the shoe, traced around it with pencil, just dark enough to see it, then with acrylic fabric paint slightly watered down and spray the canvas a little first, the paint will spread like a water color so don't go to close to the edges with the paint until you get the feel for how it travels. and it will travel, and you can out line with a sharpie fabric pen or just a liner brush with black or paynes grey. ps don't spray the canvas when you are outlining or it will spread and we don't want that, just a crisp sharp edge.:) happy painting and I would love to see your results! love and light and thanks for the message!
