Mixed media journal layout "Be Happy"
Sometimes I need to remind myself to look for the things that make me happy, so I wanted to ceate a layout that left space for me to add some personal notes and pictures at a later date. I also wanted to challange myself to make 2 complimentory pages rather than one large page.
To create the pages I used various papers and card, DIY Washi Tape, Inks, acrylic paint, bubble wrap, gesso, then used a paint pen and biro to add detailing and doodles.

I love the textures. I'd love to see a tutorial on creating these kind of textures on paper or just organic looking textures in general because I think they would be great for photographing and using as backgrounds/images in posts.
Thanks @thecryptofiend. I will see what I can do for you. I have been playing trying to get good pictures as I think they would make great backgrounds to but my photography skills and temperamental tech aren't up to the job.
