I love drawing trees so I thought it would be fun to challenge myself to draw a new tree sketch every day for the next week. You never know, it might be longer. :)

Today's sketch is of a pair of trees on top of a mountain somewhere (loosely based on a pine and spruce).

I usually prefer to draw with my Lamy Safari but this drawing was done with a Rotring Art Pen that I wanted to try out. I didn't find it as smooth to draw with as the Lamy but this could be due to the extra-fine nib on the Art Pen.
