Lazer Blaster and new Dinosaur Project!
hello!
since last week i have been busy playing with legos and
making a bunch of sci-fi guns
https://steemit.com/art/@papersmell/making-sci-fi-guns
at the end i was making a 50´s sci-fi style lazer gun
and here is the finished blaster :
made an improvised display for it.
not a bad gun at all ! :D
this is the raw material - bought the gun on the flea-market for one euro.
it´s from some video-game not sure what system.
and i have a big box of legos and little toys
that i can use for details.
i actually opened it ,took the electronics out and put some weight inside it
( some old screws and such) but i forgot to take photos of that part.
gluing on all the little bits - not being very complicated about it.
little hair-brushes,helmets,part of a little airplane...
if i like the look of it on the gun i glue it on.
i made a base-coating with black matte spray
and then i dry-brushed it with acrylic silver paint to give that metal effect,
painted some parts with acrylic copper color and in the end
i gave it a wash with brown acrylic and water-and wiped it off again-
to make it look old and rusty.
and here is a sneak peek into my new project
the majestic cyborg-dinosaur ! :)
i already finished this last night
and i made a base with a little swamp-landscape for him!
will upload images later ! :)
cheers

Does it have a shrink ray button? The next time my wife opens her mouth pew pew, pew pew.... Looks very awesome... Great work my friend

What a crazy looking gun. So futuristic. Well done, @papersmell.
heyo! thank you very much trincowski ! :)
Wow... that looks really nice, both of them. The gun looks like a steampunk edition and it definitely looks old and rusty and metallic. And the cyber dino <3333.
I love your creativity ^_^.
