How to make a sewing for beginner
Hi peeps, the last time(yesterday),we talked about how to make measurements which is the first thing you must get to know as a newbie in fashion.Am so surprised previous day that only few people visited my blog and my post, for newbies in fashion,I will urge you to come here, let's talk and make here a great place for fashion.
You may check my blog for my last post that state the basic things a fashion designer or tailor must know about about measurements and the tools use for measuring.
Alhamdulilah, for guys that have been following my blog, the next stage by God's grace will be how to transfer your measurements on to a bodice(the fabric you intend to use)
The material needed to draft out the patterns are:
1 .paper cutting scissors
2 .tape measure
3 .ruler
4 .curve ruler or french curve
5 .pencil and pattern paper
You must make sure you get all this I mentioned, and if you know you don't have a french curve, you can do hand free, but for as newbie that we are, let's try and get it
let's start work
I will urge those that are newbie to get a brown paper, for easy understanding before we now put that into work.
When you get the brown paper/fabric you intend to use, mark front on your pattern paper and you should square out the AB line at top
Mark ½ your shoulder length measurements on guideline AB
Come down and Mark or put point c
Go in 2.5" on guideline then mark point D
Mark down 1&3/4 on point c,to have point E ![image](
Join point D and E and this become the shoulder slope
The next is neckline curves
From point D go down 3"and Mark point
Then square both side
Inshallah am gonna stop here for now and continue in the nearest hour, guys should go ahead and practice this,I will be here in some hours time to continue,so I has to stop for guys that want to ask questions, feel free to ask
