FIREBIRD figurine, 22 cm high, like a koli, around 1950, produced by the Vinogradiv ceramics factory in Transcarpathia, Ukraine.
Back in 1965, near the town of Vinogradiv, an industrial plant was created, where a ceramic workshop was launched.
Keryuchim bv German Zelmanovich Rosenthal. The work was requested by local potters Fedir Chernitsky and Ivan Dragun, and the head artist was Maria Kovalchuk. These masters shaped the traditions and style of Vinograd ceramics.
Chernytskyi made roosters, coffee sets, plates, and Dragun produced tall vases.
They decorated their robots with imperishable little ones. Based on their flowers, they began to produce souvenirs, candlesticks, vases, and then decorative panels and sculptures.
In 1967, there was an open workshop for tiled production. In 1971, they launched the first electric power plant in a new workshop, which already employed over 600 people! New types of products emerged, and then they were solidified by the art council in Uzhgorod. The lead artist is Ivan Getsko.
Clay was harvested from deposits in the villages of Onok and Velika Kopanya in the Vinogradiv region; Midyanitsya village, Irshavsky district; Druzhkivka town, Donetsk region. Barvniki were taken from the place of Vishneve in the Kiev region.
At the vikory plant there were two methods of molding viruses - plastic molding and casting. In the Materials Development Shop, working ceramic paste (plastic paste, slip), glazes, and engobe were prepared. In the Gypsum Modeling Shop, plaster molds were prepared for pouring and decoration. The robot also used fireclay mixture, which changed the deformation of the frame and stabilized the shrinkage. They made the fireclay of the big one themselves. After the first drop, the defective sprouts were ground and added to the original clay mass. Once upon a time, fireclay clay was taken from the Moscow Tsegelny plant. Pots were made from fireclay mixture. Vipal was carried out in two tunnel electric ovens. The temperature of the first one reached 800 °C, and the other - from 850 to 900 °C.
In 1978, the industrial plant was renamed the Vinogradiv ceramics plant. There were already close to 1800 people practicing!!! The plant has gained a wider range of products. They began to produce sets and various decorative elements to decorate the living area. The product range has grown to more than 100 items.
The ceramic pots from the plant were sold to the population of the region and were repeatedly exported to the republics of the Great Radyansky Union and countries abroad.
And in 1993 the plant moved to stop producing production.
