Shadow Woek

In this work imaginative figures appeared. They say in dreams, if you make contact with a person you don’t recognize, it is usually a fragment of yourself materializing as a body. It makes it easier to have a hard conversation with yourself when you look like someone else. The figures dance between figuration and abstraction, and scream their story with exaggerated colour and contrast. We use our skin bags as a concealer, covering up the chaos underneath. In the space of the inbetween live hoarders of knowledge and truth. They show face as infinite archetypes each born by an imprint of experience, they sometimes turn into monsters.
