Artisanal Handicraft Tapestry: Cup Mats [Work in Progress]

I do love stitching and embroidery, especially for tapestry and works in etamine and jute or derivated materials from them. I learned this when I was very young with my mother and these days I've been handcrafting some things for the house. This work is still in progress and I thought about some cup mats to place on the desks and rest especially hot cups of coffee or tea. As it is made of wool, it is not recomended for cold drings as the mats will get wet.

The stitch I used was smyrna stitch as this is the one I like the most to work with.
