Proposing a Art guild to promote artists on Steem
As I said in this post, Steem is a great community for artists. But it can be even greater, if artists work together to help each other.
A "unofficial guild" is a possible way to organize it.
Not a guild with delegation of voting power, like the ones already running in the last year. Just a group - or more groups - of artists that want to support each other, to share their idea of Art.
I said "more groups". In fact there are many different kinds of Art. And I don't think anyone should support artworks he thinks are not worth it. So each artist should join groups of other artists he appreciates. Otherwise it would be just another guild with the purpose to sum up Voting Power and to get curation rewards.
I'm thinking about a different kind of collaboration. That's why I wrote this:
My first proposal is to create an unofficial guild. No upvoting trail, just sharing the posts of other artists you like. Do you want a name for it? Let's take something like "Art team".
My second proposal is to create a database of opportunities for exhibitions, sales, contests all around the worlds. We can put it on Steemarket.com and share it. Or somewhere else.
But these are just one's proposals. I'd like to read more ideas.

@makersunited - I have not seen anything work yet - I see some artist getting major attention and others do sometimes. I see that realism is rewarded more than weird stuff (mine is weird stuff) - I am happy to try something if you like - maybe a new tag? I am the type of artist that works better in a team and I literally am lost out there by myself... so let me know what you think would work... here on steemit that which gets the most attention is crypto currency - is there a way to make art into crypto?
I think it's a great idea, and I have been thinking about something similar. I think it would be great for artists and creators of "art content" to help each other out with mutual support, challenges, contests and above all engagement.
