Simple Drawing Idea: How Does A Fridge Works?

Most of the time we find symbols, figures, sketches or drawings more explanatory than words. I think this is because of the interconnections of ideas or parts can be shown at once to the viewer. If you wanted to explain things with words then the reader somehow has to visualize or build a story out of the said things anyway. With an image, all are presented already with a desired level of detail.

What if I wanted to explain or visualize a technical topic? More specifically the mechanism of a fridge. Of course in an artistic style instead of assembly drawings or mechanical diagrams.

In the picture above I just started with a basic idea: the sole purpose of a fridge is to isolate and sustain a cold environment by continuously running a cycle to pump heat out of the inner chamber to the outside environment. Hot can be represented with red meaning the outer environment whereas cold is blue meaning the inner chamber. Then the cycle is shown by circulating arrows with the help of electricity. Just to add some fun, a snowman enjoying the cold is drawn. Also, simple lines are used to express the main idea.

Below is another drawing to view from a different angle of the same concept.

But this time I tried to highlight the compressor. It is taking hotness from the inner chamber pumping it out through backside pipes. As the circulation reaches to the top of the fridge the gas is cooled and ready to take away some more heat from the inside. As the flow goes down blue turns to red meaning excess heat is captured and circulated by the compressor. Again and again. All the process is controlled by the main parameter which is temperature. So yes, ℃ is for that.
