My deepest condolences to the Savage family. I never knew him (nor you) but through @coloringiship we got to know about this sad news.
You will have my 100% upvote. I don't have much but I'll see how to boost your post to a bigger audience to fetch some funeral expenses for the Savage family.
Are you staying in the same country or same area with the Savage family? Maybe if you are, then maybe there is a way to find Steemians from the same country / area to exchange your SBD earnings with fiat so and send to the Savage family.
This is what we did a couple of times, from cancer fund raising to hospital expenses in #teammalaysia
Maybe that could help to do so faster.
Steemit is a great investment in our eyes so far and we know that team work as a family will work.
