A Step Back #3 - Bees and Honeycomb!
Good evening everyone!
I wanted to show a picture that I drew with pastels with my family, similar to the previous butterfly picture. This was back a few months ago!
I worked mainly on the bees in this. Pastels are so different than digital or traditional graphite! But different mediums are definitely very fun to work with! I try to do many different things, to keep the creativity high and break it up a bit! Just digital art gets boring after a while.
The area where the larvae is popping out is actually a little rough from the pastel!

The left bee is an africanized variety, while the right is european. Different species!
I hope you all enjoyed this little piece! It's only taped up on the wall for now. We're going to frame it in time!

That is a really amazing illustration. It is not easy to get such crisp detail with pastels and you have done that beautifully 👌😉👌
