"Learn to Draw with friends" - Drawing Super Mario

I came across this drawing contest motivated by @tonyr "Learn to Draw with Friends" few days ago. I thought it was fun so I decided to give it a try.

This week's theme is gaming. There are three skill levels you can choose from: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. And each level has a designated gaming character you can draw.

I picked beginner because first it's easy and second because it's Super Mario. Who doesn't love Mario? Haha! I used to play mario when I was in kindergarten. I loved it so much that I got addicted to it. Fun times.

While I was in the middle of my drawing, I forgot that one of the rules is we only should use pencil drawings or color pencils. I was using pens to color my character. I was like "Nooooooooooo". I just laugh to myself after. I didn't want to start all over again, so I continued. I'll going to post it anyway. Haha! It is what it is. 😁

My first drawing entry FAILED.

Heres what I used:

• 4H pencil
• Eraser
• 1 blue pen
• 1 black pen
• 1 red pen
• Nude eyeshadow palette

Let's Start

Step 1: I sketched Mario's head first.

Step 2: I drew over the final sketch lines with black pen. I then colored his mustache, eyebrows and inside of his mouth black.

Step 3: I then colored his cap, and the M-shape.

There you go, the head is done. Opps, I forgot to color his tongue.Haha

Step 5: Then I sketched his body and right arm. I colored his tongue here as well.

Step 6: I drew over the sketch lines with black pen.

Step 7: I then sketched his left arm.

Step 8: I again drew over the sketch line with black pen.

Step 9: I colored his suspender with blue pen.

His inside shirt red.

And I colored the buttons with yellow marker.

Step 10: I sketched his other leg and shoes.

Step 11: I drew over the sketch line with black pen.

Step 12: Lastly I colored his eyes with blue pen, his shoes and skin brown. I don't have any brown color pencil, so I used my nude eye shadow palette. Haha!😅

The final product: Tadaa! My Super Mario with make up on. 🤣
