Overgrowth

“They say, “Look before you leap.” So look. But do not look for too long. Do not look into the void of uncertainty trying to predict each and every possible outcome, to evaluate every possible mistake, to prevent each possible failure. Look for the opportunity to leap, and leap faster than your fear can grab you. Leap before you talk yourself out of it, before you convince yourself to set up a temporary camp that turns into a permanent delay on your journey into your own heart.”

Have you ever been unable to let a thought go? Unkept mindfulness spirals into the what-ifs, and if-onlys, and you're hooked for the rest of the night.
My piece, "Overgrowth" is a vision of the 'overgrowth' in our minds, and how must be maintained, kept, and meticulously overlooked, without looking like we are stifled or struggling at all.

But I know we are. We all have that mental overdrive, especially late at night, when our minds are tired and we over-criticize to the point of insecurity.

Know, friends, that if you are struggling, you can talk here.
Tell me how you turned your overgrowth into a work of art. Or how you turned over a new leaf. Or even feel free to vent and discuss.
If you are going through the brambles, we will help you through this.

Lovely piece, although the frame choice is off, but your work itself is beautiful and would definitely hang one on my wall!

Thanks! What kind of frame do you think would look best?

I know this will sound weird but like bamboo would really make this piece pop more to me.

She looks like she has had a tough life.
