Artwork: Sketches!
Hey everyone! Back again with some more art!
Below are a bunch of sketches I've done on and off. Always good to sketch frequently to keep your art muscles flexed, in addition to more finished paintings/illustrations.
Most of these are anatomical studies which are important for any artist to build not only their understanding of human anatomy, but to sharpen their observation skills as well, which is arguably the more important aspect, as it will apply to every facet of an artist/designer in more ways than only just anatomy.
These are all done with pencils on my sketchbooks with the occasional ballpoint pen. In fact maybe I'll make the next art post about the stuff I did for Inktober?

I am amazed how easy you make it look. My teen has developed an interest in sketching and has asked us to buy her a body kun art figurine... I don't even know what that is... How did you start sketching the body parts? What helped you wrap your head around it? 😊
Hi there! A body-kun figurine is meant to be used as a reference for anatomy and poses.
A good place to start would be to check this youtube channel out as he is very informative and beginner-friendly:

Hope your teen has a great time and great fun learning more about art!
Thank you for the tip 😊
phew reminds me of the good old days. human anatomy sounds easy to draw but is a b*tch to master, good job!
Thanks, man! I know, right? Anatomy is hard to learn, and just as hard to master too! Even the seasoned pros are learning something new as we speak, or practicing hard to stay sharp.
nice work. Dynamic.
