"Sentinel" - acrylic and spray paint on 8" x 10" canvas
A new piece constructed from my imagination. I was recently told by someone on here that my posts are not valid or blog worthy due to the fact that I dont add enough words to describe the artworks I create. Hopefully these extra words added to this post will make that person satisfied this time as I have now added extra words to my post giving the post some validation.
this is great, some people do like to know the inspiration behind the art, but I am happy that you shared your talent with us xx

I dont think the one who told you to write more meant that your posts are worthless. It is just that without any content a creative post does not get much comments from the community. The most someone will write is cool artwork or sth. Of course is up to you to write or not or do whatever you like but in the end Steemit is a social media platform and not a showcase platform.
Fair enough. Im generally not one to be overly poetic with my work but I can play the game if thats what the people want I suppose.
I know what you mean about not being overly poetic about one's work. To describe the details of it can be way more challenging than the creation. It is a fine line to walk, playing the Steemit (and social media, and even IRL social life) game. But playing can unlock more than we could ever imagine.
