Trust from your horse takes time, consistency, and patience.

Does your horse trust you? Will your horse take on new challenges even when it's something new? Take a look at this video where my Paso Fino Stallion fearlessly approaches obstacles and trail challenges.

The short answer is maybe. If you invest your time in the relationship, if you are consistently disciplined with your training, and you are patient with yourself and your horse, you can have a trusting equine companion that can go virtually anywhere, and do anything you want to do on trails and obstacles. Sign up for one of my Trail and Obstacle Clinics, or a Trail Horse Test and I will show you step by step how to begin building this kind of relationship. If you need to work on your horsemanship skills, and don't think you are ready for the trails or obstacles, get involved in my Horsemanship Level 1 clinics and then progress to higher levels as you can. I look forward to seeing you. Be sure to create an account on the website so you will be included in email notices about upcoming events!Me and Mesteno Sunset small.JPG
