Making movies out of Playtime with PJ Masks, a Cloning Machine, and Transmutation Device
So, I started playing with toys with my daughter 2 years ago, when she was 3 while recording rough gopro or cell phone videos. I have a backlog of hundreds of hours of playtime sitting on multiple hard drives, but every once in a while, I get in a zone to want to edit, score, and publish.
A little bit about my method and how these come about. Basically some small idea will start the story, like a villain has a plan to do xyz, or something happens to one of the heroes...etc.. then we just improv the dialogue, and in the editing process, I add some music, or SFX to enhance the mood, or color correct to fit the timeframe.
If you have kids around the age of 4-8, you probably know what this show PJ Masks is. It's a great show, and the Villain Romeo is hilarious with his futuristic inventions and failed pronunciation of R's. I do my best to keep the voices going for each character, but there's obviously slippage, since it's all one take and improvised.
Anyway, thought you guys on here would appreciate a little backstory on this, and hadn't seen any kid content on this site, yet, but if we really want Steemit to win, maybe having some more kid friendly content wouldn't be a bad thing to bring newbies over here!

haha I love participation awards! It appeals to the inner snowflake within.
This is so gold! Francois Truffaut once said in a Cahiers article that cinema would be like this in 50 years! It's so organic and real. I know it sounds hyperbolic but this is way more meaningful to the world then what they play at your local Cinemark. Thanks for sharing.
wow! I never heard that! Thanks!
Hello! Just found you somehow. :) Ima old country poet living just south of you, Bham. Do you do anything down here? We may know some of the same folks. Peace and Love and Liberty.
