Do-It-Yourself: KEEP A ROSE FOREVER

There is no flower that has been revered and celebrated as much as the rose. Rose means romantic love and deep affection in terms of love. So today, I would like to share how I have been busy in my Valentine's or Heart's Day. Rose Making on the line! And guess what, you can actually keep these cutie and romantic stuffs like forever!! Let me tell and share you how this become possible. I am excited! Here we go!

MATERIALS USED:

Satin cloth (Red or any color)
Chiffon or netted cloth
Laces/ Ribbonette (red)
Barbecue sticks
Scissors
Scotch tape

STEP BY STEP PROCESS:

1. Cut your satin cloth around 5 inches in width and you can have any length you want but to have a bigger and more visible rose, cut around 20- 25 inches.
   

2. Fold the cloth into halves.
   

3. And now we will start forming the rose. Holding from the top, fold it going down forming an obtuse triangle. Remember not to fold it too long just right when you see a triangular form already.
   

4. Continue it around 3 times and after that, fold it then including the tip of the triangle already and swirl it while starting to form the center part of the rose.
   
   
   Then you'll start seeing the center of the rose.

And here's the result afterwards! Tadaa! A rose for youuu.

And now we will make its stem:
You will only use barbecue sticks and ribbonette or laces.

Match them together and surround your ribbonette to the stick.



Done! So locked or secure it then by a scotch tape.

You can actually make a stem of any color you want! Here like pink and green. Depend on your taste.

Then insert it in the mid posterior of the rose.

Next you can put some other laces or ribbons or even tags on it if you're planning to give it to someone.

And here it is. Your DIY Rose on the go!

More flowers for you! Same, you can use still cloth and some of here you can use a very thin cloth like chiffon or some netted cloth to wrap the rose. More samples here:
