ILLUSTRATION OF A LOST CITY / CONCEPT ART CLASS PROJECT

HELLO PEOPLE

Today I bring you an illustration that I made of a digital drawing course, for the creation of scenarios and backgrounds.

As artists and illustrators, for many, including myself, the subject of backgrounds becomes very difficult, in many cases we avoid integrating this type of elements, only giving prominence to the character, putting neutral colors, blurring and only focusing our technical development as cartoonists in anatomy and yet integrate the scenarios to our art, it gives an incredible potential to the works.

In the past and when I say the past, until recently, I was the kind of person who did not draw something in perspective, constructions or landscapes, mine were the faces or people and every time I tried to draw something with respect to what mentioned, it failed. Therefore take a course related to the creation of landscapes, focuses primarily on the concept art of scenarios for triple A games.

ILLUSTRATION

Here I teach what I end up being the illustration that I developed in the course, obviously it is digital illustration, the project consists that from a story you must develop an art where its main characteristic is the infrastructure, the concept was a mythical city lost in the desert.

One of the suggestions they gave us was to work first in grayscale and then put the color, the use of the different brushes, some perspectives tips, among others.

I recommend them and I thank them for the DOMESTIKA course, because they are great, they help a lot to the development of the professionals in the different areas, including the design and the illustration, I know that this may sound to them Spam and in fact it is, but I feel that sharing the right places for academic training to others who do not know it favors growth as professionals and artists.
