Is the ocean blue/green yes but today it's not. Well more so, its reflecting from the setting sun and it exchanges the colors from blue to orange as it drift down. As this side of the earth slumbers into sleep somewhere it's waking up and the sun rises just as beautiful but different.
I really like the soft touch for the sky while making the beach and rocks harder and darker using lines and dark tones. Blending the ocean with lines and sub tones of both light and dark. it ties it all together and yes I could of used darker blue but this spoke to me more of what I was feeling at the time.
