fraudulant posts, how do I handle someone stealing my artwork?
First of all, I'm very thankful for @yourservice for bringing this to my attention, and @dubceereviews for defending me when it was brought into question of who the original artist was on a recent post, well, unfortunately a couple recent posts. I put up a post of a painting I did (shown below), Including a breakdown of my process and another steemit user @mughalmirza stole (not resteemed) the post word for word, and is continuing to collect credit for my work as well as the money accumulating from it. Now ideally I'd like to burn this person, take the money and smash there computer, but I don't think I'm able to do that. So, how do I handle this? the only thing I've seen for fraud on here is through the steemit chat, but my computer isn't really allowing that at the time. There has to be another way right? because I could use a little help and insight on the subject.
you can check my instagram account ( www.instagram.com/honeycombwinnie ) to verify my credibility of the artwork being indeed mine and I have also included another picture of it, where it lays with other works of mine (including additional pieces I've put on steemit). Thank you all in advance, I truly love the steemit community and I believe in it, I just can't believe someone did this, I suppose it's a compliment, but to hell with all that. It ain't right.
Nice to meet you @Honeycombwinnie ! Welcome to the steemit community !

That is sad, but there is no tolerance for plagerism on steemit. First I would reccomend contacting him, and maybe he will realize his mistake and compensate directly to your account. If there is no immediate cooperation, report in steemit.chat steem-abuse channel and to @steemcleaners. Also go to discord minnowsupport and report to @aggroed or other witnesses. Whales can smash those earnings with a flag. You can use steemit.chat on mobile too.
Just saw he has been flagged already, lol.
Thanks for all the info, I'm still pretty new here so everything you just said is greatly appreciated regardless of them being flagged, it's nice to know for the future. That person was stealing a lot of peoples work and commenting back like it was there own, I don't believe they had any misrepresentation about what they were doing. I'm glad they got flagged, I only wish they got shut down to keep them from doing this to anyone else in the future. thank you again @deserttree
Nice to meet you Honeycombwinnie ! Welcome to the steemit community ! Take care, @digital-gypsy

Let's see if @steemcleaners can help you out. I reported the issue to steemitabuse on steemit chat.
thank you so much! I sincerely appreciate it @onthewayout
wow that's so gnarly someone did that! I've been worried about it happening to my own photos so I'm starting to add a logo into each of my pictures with my screen name so that no one can take a photo as their own without a bunch of editing. Maybe you should do the same. Although it's a bit of a pain. It might help.
yeah.. it's definitely something to concider. I don't really like the idea of having to put watermark on all of my stuff, but I really don't like the idea of people plagiarizing my work. thanks for the support @jayjayjeffery
Hey sorry for the miss info this morning, but i could of swore thats what it said. Must have been looking at the other one.
