Digital Painting - Face Portrait Illustration
Hi Guys
i'm Back with another post , this is a face portrait illustration i did yesterday in Adobe Photoshop
In case if you don't know, i use a " Wacom bamboo CTL-471 6x4 inches Drawing Tablet " for creating digital art.
i was actually doodling around in photoshop , i did not have any sort of idea of what i wanted to draw at that time xD i was just doodling around with some new brushes i downloaded from google then suddenly i saw a weird face in the blob of mess which i created on the canvas :D ( that's the creative process ) . So i thought to work on that more and define it according to my imagination .
So i just chose a big Hard Brush and then started doodling above the blob and started defining edges and shapes ,
i always work in Greyscale at first and then i add colours on the top :D
( This is what i mean by Greyscale )
After this process i just created another layer and set that to "multiply" so that the colours won't leave opaque marks and totally hide the undersketch/paint .
and then i started thinking about " What colours should i put on his face? " . idk after some Trail and Error i ended up choosing a blue colour for his face .. ( maybe my instinct was inspired from the movie Avatar xD )
So here is the piece after putting in the colours and some little editing effects :D
Although in my opinion Blue Colour kinda suits him , don't you think so? :D
