Watercolor # 17: Peaceful Harbour

Some sceneries are not only charming, beautiful, but also have a unique spirit.
A lonely boat, which experienced a dangerous situation and tempestuous waves, finally returned to the quiet harbor.

Like many people, who are busy all day long and look forward to returning to their own warm home. Because home is always such a place where you can relax and have a rest, a harbour of the soul.

I love this picture, because it makes me feel very calm, and it is much like a lake near my house. There are green grassland, some houses (actually they are sales offices of developers ) by the lake and a steel railway bridge over the lake .

I used to go there with my friends, playing football with children, going fishing, and flying kites. But now everyone is busy and rarely gets together .

I seldom used tape to stick watercolor paper on the drawing board before, so when I finished my painting , it began to wrinkle. It is normal, if you don't stick it on the drawing board. To avoid this situation and be propitious to color, you'd better to stick watercolor paper on the board with tape.

漂泊的小船，经历了狂风暴雨，惊涛骇浪，终于回到了宁静的港湾。

就像很多人一样，整日忙碌奔波，盼望着回到自己温馨的家。因为， 家永远是我们放松和休憩的场所，一个心灵的港湾。

我很喜欢这个画面，一是因为它会让我的内心感到特别平静，二是因为它跟我家附近的一个湖很像，湖边也有绿地，小屋（其实是开发商的售楼处），还有大桥。过去经常和朋友们去那里玩，陪孩子们踢球，钓鱼，放风筝。只是现在大家都很忙，很少再聚了。

之前画风景画的时候，很少去裱纸，导致有时候画完，纸都起皱很多。因为在绘画时，纸张过薄，而需要大面积湿画法表现时，就会出现这种情况。为避免纸张起皱，利于上色，最好裱一下画纸。

Material ：

watercolor paper, watercolor brush, water tape, drawing board, wool scrubbing brush, solid watercolor paint.

所用工具: 水彩纸，水彩笔，水胶带，画板，羊毛板刷，固体水彩颜料。

The Process 过程：

1、裱纸
先用清水把水彩纸正反两面都打湿，用大的板刷轻轻涂抹，然后平放在画板上。撕下四条纸胶带，用少量水打湿胶带，使水胶带产生粘性。用水胶带将画纸四周封边，按压粘贴的四边，等待画纸变干。

2、给背景铺色。用土黄和淡黄色混合，用板刷扫在画纸中间位置。下面淡淡的扫一层。

3、然后再调和蓝色的天空，先用天蓝和钴蓝色，大面积刷在画纸上。再叠加一层群青和深蓝色。

4、等画纸变干后，用蓝色，绿色和紫色混合画出树木，用熟褐和赭石色混合，画出地面。

5、继续用熟褐和赭石，细笔勾勒出远处的大桥，水面的波纹用浅色淡淡的勾出。画出树木的倒影，如果再喷一点水，保持倒影区域湿润一些，再画就好了，树木的倒影边缘就会模糊一些，看起来更自然。

6、用橄榄绿色和温莎黄混合，画出房屋内的柔光。

7、用熟褐色画出远处房屋的轮廓。

8、用深绿色和黄色调和，画出房屋周围的树木。用赭石和熟褐色调和画出水草。

9、用佩恩灰和一点普蓝色画出近景的水草。用笔最好一气呵成。

10、在画面右下方画出小船。我用了熟褐色先画出轮廓，然后再用普蓝色和佩恩灰调和，画出阴影及桅杆。

11、整理一下细节，用干净的笔轻轻擦洗一下房屋前面的地面，屋顶，这幅画就完成了。
